Is there opportunity for growth?
Yes! At Uppercuts, we believe in career advancement. We offer opportunities for promotion, mentorship, and skill development to help you grow as a barber or stylist.
What if I have no clients?
No problem! We welcome all stylists, whether you have an established clientele or are just starting out. We provide you with support and guidance to help build your client base.
What if I’m not an expert on fades?
We offer continuous training to all our barbers and stylists. If fades aren’t your specialty, you’ll have plenty of chances to learn and improve your skills through hands-on training with our experienced team.
Do you hire hairdressers?
Yes, we welcome hairdressers and hairstylists! If you’re passionate about cutting and styling, Uppercuts is a great place to grow your career, regardless of your specialty.
Do I need to rent a chair?
No chair rental is required. We want you to focus on your craft, so there are no rental fees to worry about at Uppercuts.
Do you hire outside of Canada?
Currently, we operate in Canada, but we’re always looking for talented individuals. Stay tuned as we expand in the future.

Start At The
Uppercuts Academy.
Training on a real shop floor at our Willowbrook academy, with intakes every Monday. Graduates can grow with the Uppercuts team across Maple Ridge, Walnut Grove and Willowbrook.
